1. Our approach

The free trial exists so you can judge the real product before paying. Because of that, our refunds are straightforward rather than generous: cancel during the trial and you pay nothing, cancel later and you simply are not billed again. We will always refund a mistake on our side, and we would rather give your money back than argue with you.

2. The free trial

Every plan begins with a 14-day free trial. No charge is made during it. If you cancel at any time before the trial ends, you are never charged and there is nothing to refund.

During the trial you get the real service — onboarding, a first batch of videos, and the normal approval process — so you can judge it properly before any money changes hands.

3. Monthly plans

Monthly subscriptions are charged at the start of each billing period for the month ahead.

You can cancel any time. When you do, your service continues through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. We do not refund partial months — instead, you keep the service you paid for until that period ends. Content already produced for that period remains yours.

4. Annual plans

Annual plans are billed once for the year at a discount to the monthly rate.

If you cancel an annual plan within 30 days of the charge, we will refund it in full, less the value of content already produced and published at your monthly-equivalent rate. After 30 days, annual payments are not refundable, but your service continues for the remainder of the year you paid for, and you may use it fully or stop using it as you prefer.

If you cancel an annual plan mid-term and later want to return, you keep whatever founding-client pricing you originally had for the period it was promised.

5. First-month guarantee

If your first paid month genuinely does not deliver what we described — the content volume of your plan, delivered for your approval — email us within 14 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to justify your taste; this covers us failing to deliver, not you disliking a video, which we would rather fix by revising it.

This applies once, to your first paid month.

6. Ad management and ad spend

Two different kinds of money, treated differently:

  • Our ad management fee is charged immediately when you add it and is not included in the free trial. It covers work performed. It is refundable only for the current period if we have not yet built or launched any campaign.
  • Your advertising budget is paid by you directly to the ad platform, never to us. Once a platform has spent it, it is gone and we cannot refund it — we never held it. Unspent budget stays in your ad account, which you own.

7. When we will refund you

We will refund you, without argument, if:

  • You were charged after cancelling, or charged twice, or charged the wrong amount.
  • We failed to deliver your plan's content for a period you paid for, and could not make it up.
  • We published something you did not approve. This is the promise the whole service rests on, and if we break it we will refund the billing period in which it happened.
  • We ended your service without cause — we refund the unused portion.
  • Your first paid month falls short as described above.

8. When we will not

So there are no surprises, we do not refund:

  • Partial months on a monthly plan — you keep service to the end of the period instead.
  • Marketing results. We do not guarantee views, followers, leads, or sales, and a disappointing result is not a service failure. This is why we do not promise numbers anywhere.
  • Content you approved and published, then changed your mind about.
  • Periods where content was produced and sent for your approval but you did not respond. The work was done and delivered.
  • Ad budget already spent by a platform.
  • A platform suspending, restricting, or removing your account or content.
  • Annual plans after the 30-day window.

If you are unhappy with the content itself, please ask for changes rather than a refund. Requesting revisions through the approval page is free and unlimited, and it is a faster route to something you actually want to post.

9. How to request a refund

Email nikki@trustyourmark.com with your business name and what happened. You do not need a form or a specific phrase.

We respond within 2 business days and decide within 5. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. We refund to the original payment method only.

10. How to cancel

Cancel from your client dashboard, or email us and we will do it for you the same business day. There are no contracts, no notice periods, and no cancellation fees. We will not make you sit through a phone call to leave.

On cancellation you keep the content already produced for you, and you can download it. Content not yet approved is not published.

11. Chargebacks

If something looks wrong on your statement, please email us before disputing it with your bank — we can almost always resolve a billing error faster than a chargeback can, and in the cases above we will simply refund you. If you do file a dispute, we may pause service while it is resolved, and we will provide the bank with our records of the service delivered.
